Top header bar

This topic isNot resolved
  • For my main site I have used the top header bar to display some menu items on the left, text in the middle and then search and social icons on the right.  When I go to the mobile view, I have none of the menu items except for the text.  This is ok, but my text goes onto two lines despite having space at the left and right hand side.  It is almost as though it is leaving space for the menu items on the left and right even though they are not shown.

Is there any way this can be corrected?  If not, can it be removed just for mobile?

    Thanks,

    Claire.

    Hi “Claire”.
Thank you for the follow up.

Please navigate to Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS and paste the following CSS snippet:

Also I noticed that there is a JavaScript error on your page which is related to a plugin called Directories . You may want to look in to that too because that will probably cause you some trouble in the future.

Please let me know if we could be of any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

Thanks, although this now shows on the left hand side of the page and looks a bit odd. Is there an option to remove it and that whole top bar completely just for mobile?

Please can you confirm where the Javascript errors were as I had a few things corrected and so not sure if there is still a problem? I can see some errors on the blog page which actually relate to the Phlox theme (Circus Blog) rather than another plugin.

    Hi.
Thank you for the follow up.

For hiding the top header on mobile size, you can use the following snippet:

And for the errors on your page, right now you don’t have any errors, specially not related to the Phlox.

Please let me know if you had any further questions.

    Best,
    Averta
