Posting articles on 'Geldzaken' pages
-
<div class=”x_gmail_quote”><div class=”x_gmail_quote”>Dear Averta employees,I’ve made a website with your Phlox-theme, thank you for this beautiful theme! It’s a website in Dutch language, I hope you can understand it a little bit:http://www.goedmetjegeld.nl (‘goed met je geld’ means ‘to take good care of your money’, a financial information blog website). Now, I want to post some informative articles at the ‘Geldzaken’ menu. I want to post an article at the subpage of ‘Hypotheken’. But when I am logged in into my WordPress account, have written my article and select the categories ‘Geldzaken’ and ‘Hypotheken’, the article doesn’t appear at the page of the Hypotheken-submenu.How can I arrange this? Could you please help me with that? I have found this article on you help-website, but it couldn’t help me yet:http://support.averta.net/en/ticket/categories-no-longer-working/The ‘Geldzaken’-pages have to look the same as my Blogs-page. A page with multiple articles published on it.I hope my question is clear for you guys. If not, or if you have any further questions, please let me know. If you want or need a temporary account at my WordPress, please explain how I can add you to my WordPress.

timklerxQuoteHello,
Thank you for posting your question on Averta community.
Sorry, I didn’t get that exactly! If you want to add your article (Posts) into your site menu as a submenu, you need to add them via WordPress dashboard, please see the attachment.
https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-navigation-menu-in-wordpress-beginners-guide/I hope this helps and if that doesn’t help you, please provide us more details for better understanding, we will check and reply to you ASAP.

You must be logged in to view attached files. Thanks for your reply and sorry for my uncertainty. What I mean, is that I want to post articles on the pages of ‘Geldzaken’ on my website. If I write an article and I post it, it appears on the Blogs page. Now, I want to post some articles on the (for the time being) empty pages below ‘Geldzaken’.
How can I arrange this?
timklerxQuoteHello,
Thanks for your explanation.
To achieve that, you need to create a page and add a post widget into it which can show you post and that allows you to filter the post bu category and tags, please see the attachment.I hope this helps and if you have any further questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
Best Regards,
Averta

You must be logged in to view attached files. Thanks for your reply. I’m not sure if this is what I meant. I have written an article, which is called (in Dutch) ‘Ik ga een nieuwe woning kopen; welke kosten koper komen daarbij kijken?’
When I post this article, it is published on the Blogs-pages, but that’s not what I want. I want to post this article on my ‘Hypotheken-page’, which you can find in the menu below ‘Geldzaken’.How can I post this article on my Hypotheken-page?
timklerxQuoteHello,
Thank you for your reply.
To achieve that, you need to follow these steps;
1- Edit “hypotheek” with Elementor.
2- Add “Grid & Carousel Posts” Element to the page.
3- Filter “Grid & Carousel Posts” Element by category. Also, I can do this for you if you want.
Best Regards,
Averta
Customer Support MQuoteThank you for your reply and your help! I have followed your instructions, but if I visit the ‘Hypotheken’ page, I see an error (503 Service Unavailable). Did I do something wrong, or do I have to take another step to solve this error?
Could you please help me (again) with this? Thank you so much!
timklerxQuoteYes it’s working now! I can post articles on my ‘Geldzaken’ page! Thank you very much for your help!!!
timklerxQuoteOh, wait….if I visit my Blogs page, I see the same article that I’ve published on the Hypotheken page. The article which is published on the Hypotheken page, should only appear on the Hypotheken page, and not also on the Blogs page. Just the regular blogs (with no category) have to be seen on the Blogs page. How can I delete the article (title: ‘Ik ga een nieuwe woning kopen; welke kosten koper komen daarbij kijken?’) on the Blog page?
And how can I arrange that further articles which are meant to be posted on the Geldzaken pages, will just be published on one of the Geldzaken submenu pages, and not on my Blogs page?
Thanks again for your help!
timklerxQuoteHello,
Thanks for the reply.
I have explained to youe, you need to define categories for all of your site posts, then according to the post’s category you can filter them.Best Regards,
Averta
Customer Support MQuoteOK, thanks again! But how can I post my regular blogs on the Blogs-page, and the articles about ‘Geldzaken’ on the ‘Geldzaken’-pages?
There is a difference between my regular blogs and the articles that I want to post on the Geldzaken-pages. If I write a blog in WordPress, I don’t select a category, so it will be posted on my Blogs-page. But if I write an article which has to be posted on a Geldzaken-page (‘Hypotheek’ for example), I select the category ‘Hypotheek’. After this, the article is posted on the Hypotheek-page (beneath Geldzaken) as on the regular Blogs-page as well. How can I make the difference between this? For example: the article ‘Ik ga een nieuwe woning kopen; welke kosten koper komen daarbij kijken?’ has two categories; ‘Geldzaken’ and ‘Hypotheek’ and is shown on the Hypotheek-page, under the Geldzaken-menu. This is correct. But this article is also posted on the regular Blogs-page, and that’s not what I want.
I hope my question is clear for you. Thank you in advance for your help.
timklerxQuoteHello,
Thanks for the reply.
Sorry, I can’t explain it to again in any other way, the only solution for this issue is, give us permission to create tests categories, post, and pages for you to understand how you can filter your post according to the category.Best Regards,
Averta
Customer Support MQuoteOkay, thanks for your reply. Hereby you have my permission. Could you please help me (again)? Or, how can I give you permission?
Kind regards,
